By registering for any service provided on www.shipsearch.com, you become a client (“Client”) and you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions (collectively, the “Terms”) of this Agreement as long as you remain a Client. Introduction
The Website provides information about current geographical positions of ships as well as other related information, whenever available, such as cargo tracking, ships’ details, their destination, estimated time of arrival, photographs, port traffic statistics, weather conditions, points of interest, buying and selling of vessels etc.
Use of Services – Registration
Registered users of the Website are able to use certain extra Services and can access extra Data, according to their Plan specifications. During registration you will be asked to provide your name, surname and e-mail address. Any information or mobile phone number provided during the process of registration is deemed to be of your own exclusive property or in your legitimate possession or use. For the purposes of this contract, persons who subscribe to the Website and use the Services are considered as adults and able to act legally. Your registration is a valid declaration of intent. Any service provided to registered Users is ruled from the User Agreement of the website along with these present Terms of Service.
Protection of Confidential Information
Upon finishing the registration process you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your chosen data at the e-mail address you provided. Each user is personally and solely responsible for all actions and transactions made through his account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and you should ensure that you exit properly from your account at the end of each session.

ShipSearch is under no circumstances liable for any loss or damages arising from your failure to comply with this term. ShipSearch keeps a File of Personal Data of its registered users. The purposes of this collection and handling are also described in our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, you also allow ShipSearch to process your Personal Data.
Shipping Liability
ShipSearch is not responsible for sea transit time if it is non-relevant to the statement. Customer indemnifies ShipSearch against all claims, liability, losses, damages, costs, delays, costs, and/or expenses incurred by ShipSearch, its subcontractors, employees, agents, or the owner of the cargo during transportation as a result of any obstacles, delays, suspension, customs actions, inspections, terminal charges, termination, or intervention transport of goods.
Trademarks and Intellectual Property Rights
ShipSearch, as a work of Intellectual Property, is protected by USPTO or Ministry of Economy U.A.E Law for the protection of Intellectual Property Rights. The Provider and his partners maintain or legally possess the exclusive Intellectual Property Rights upon design, source code, and the whole content of the Website (including pictures, graphics, photos, designs, texts, articles, scientific presentations, and the services provided by the Website), except where explicitly stated otherwise (e.g. photographs uploaded by third parties).
We may suspend or withdraw the site
We do not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Site for business and operational reasons. These Terms, their subject matter, formation, and termination are governed by the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai. We may take action against you for breach of these Terms in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Recognizing and Reporting Spam, Inappropriate, and Abusive Content at ShipSearch
We don’t tolerate inappropriate activities or behavior such as spam, harassment, scams, and misinformation. We have Professional Community Policies which outline activities that are acceptable on the platform and what is unacceptable and may be stopped.
Scope of our Service
Through the website, we (ShipSearch.com and its affiliate (distribution) partners) provide an online platform through which all types of container types (20St, 40St, 40Hq, 20Ref, …), can advertise shipping rates for bookings, and through which visitors to the website can make such bookings. By making a booking through ShipSearch.com, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the shipping service provider at which you book. From the point at which you make your booking, we act solely as an intermediary between you and the carriers, transmitting the details of your booking to the relevant shipping service provider and sending you a confirmation email for and on behalf of the shipping service provider. When rendering our services, the information that we disclose is based on the information provided to us by shipping service providers.
As such, the users and service providers are given access to an extranet through which they are fully responsible for updating all rates, availability, and other information which is displayed on our website. Although we will use reasonable skill and care in performing our services we will not verify if, and cannot guarantee that, all information is accurate, complete, or correct, nor can we be held responsible for any errors. Each shipping service provider remains responsible at all times for the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of the (Rate descriptive) information (including the rates and availability) displayed on our website. Our website does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of the quality, service level of qualification of any service made available. You are not allowed to re-sell, deep-link, use, copy, monitor (e.g. spider, scrape), display, download or reproduce any content or information, software, products or services available on our website.
